Connection is one of God’s greatest gifts to us. God designed us for a relationship with Him and with each other. We are not only loved. We are meant to belong. What a joy!

Romans 12:4–5

“For just as each of us has one body with many members… so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”

Philippians 2:4

“Not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

Ecclesiastes 4:12

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

1 Peter 3:8

“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.”

John 13:35

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Why Choose Joy

  • Others help reveal your God-given gifts

  • Community reflects God’s love in action

  • Together, we become stronger, wiser, and more whole

How to Practice Joy

Be present and intentional with the people in your life

Invest in relationships that encourage mutual growth

Stay open to people who are different from you, as  they expand you

Build a circle that supports your journey in different ways

Honor where people are in their season, just as you honor your own

Reflect on Joy

Which scripture spoke to your heart, and why?

How strong and life-giving are your current connections?

What would change if you intentionally strengthened or began a new relationship?

Daily Joy Reminder

With others, practice being the kind of person you are called to be.
